Idaho LawyerJames Douglas Holman was born December 22, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Holman received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois in 1975. Mr. Holman attained his Juris Doctor degree with distinction at the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1978. Scholastic honors earned by Mr. Holman include: Order of the Coif; Executive Editor Nebraska Law Review; second in a class of 151. From 1978 to 1979 Mr. Holman served as clerk to the Honorable Hale McCown of the Nebraska Supreme Court. He moved to Idaho in January 1980 and started at Holden, Kidwell, Hahn & Crapo on March 1, 1980; he became a partner on January 1, 1986. Mr. Holman's practice is in the area of insurance defense litigation, personal injury and domestic relations. Idaho lawyer James Douglas Holman is a member of the Nebraska and Idaho State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United State.
